Finished Production

Written by Administrator.

EAA_DVDIt has been a great pleasure working with the EAA Video Department creating the 2011 AirVenture retail DVD. Chris Hibben finished up editing just in time for the holiday season so all aviation lovers can purchase a copy for Christmas. The DVD was written and produced by John Nicholson of ESPN and Snap 180 Media was responsible for the editing, graphics, and creating the final DVD product. A special thanks to Robb McAllister and Jim Soyk for their help with all the footage used in creating the DVD and a huge thank you to all the volunteers and employees of the Experimental Aircraft Association.

Snap 180 Media looks forward to our continued relationship with E.A.A. and creating great aviation products like this.

A Bold New Look!

Kohler_300dpi209Snap 180 Media has been awarded a new contract with the Kohler company in Kohler Wisconsin to create individule product videos for some of their products. Kohler sells products on Amazon.com and wants to attach a short product video explaining how great their product is.

Product videos are a great way to allow potential buyers see your product in action, working the way you want it to be seen. Controling the message of your company is key in today's social multi-media world. There are many people on sites like YouTube and Facebook putting their twist on products so it is important for Kohler to lead the social media revolution themselves and produce high quality video of their products for the public to view.

Snap 180 Media is proud to be working with one of the world's leading companies and looks forward to a continued relationship with them for many years.

  • Twitter Builds a Better Gagger
Twitter announced on Thursday that it can now withhold content from users country by country on demand, while still making that content available to the rest of the world. The news sparked widespread anger as critics accused the microblogging service of censorship and warned that the policy might impede popular anti-government movements such as those seen during the Arab Spring.
  • FBI's Most Wanted: A Social Media Monitoring Tool
The FBI wants to keep its eye on social media users, according to a job post that invites software developers to submit applications capable of mining through sites such as Twitter and Facebook to identify possible threats. The post can be found on FedBizOpps.gov. The bureau has a detailed list of requirements for the app.
  • Scientists Close In on Invisibility Cloak
That invisibility cloak Harry Potter throws around himself to hide in plain sight soon may be fact, rather than fiction. Researchers at the University of Texas in Austin have demonstrated one -- sort of. The researchers hid an 18 cm cylindrical tube from microwaves by putting it in a shell of plasmonic metamaterial.
