Miss Wisconsin Pageant 2011 to be aired on Network TV!

Snap 180 Media has agreed to a contract for the 2011 Miss Wisconsin Pageant. Snap 180 will again be coordinating the video needs for the on-stage production, broadcast, and pre-production video. The 2010 Pageant was directed by Chris Hibben of Snap 180 and streamed all three nights live courtesy of the Oshkosh Northwestern.  The 2011 Pageant will bring new challenges like incorporating a one hour pre-produced program about the Miss America and Miss Wisconsin organization along with a Live two hour network broadcast of the final night.

"We saw a growth of almost 300% in online viewership from last year to this year", said owner Chris Hibben, "There is a want from our viewers to be on TV and that's where we need to be!"

Developed by the Miss America Organization, the Miss America program exists to provide personal and professional opportunities for young women and to promote their voices in culture, politics and the community. The program provides a forum for today's young women to express their viewpoints, talents and accomplishments to audiences during the telecast and to the public-at-large during the ensuing year. Almost all contestants have either received, or are in the process of earning, college or postgraduate degrees and utilize Miss America scholarship grants to further their educations.

Snap 180 Media and the Miss Wisconsin organization are looking forward to 2011 and bringing scholarships to young outstanding young women.

Snap 180 Broadcasts Miss Wisconsin Pageant.

Miss Wisconsin week has come and gone and we have a new Miss Wisconsin, Kimberly Sawyer of Green Bay. Snap 180 Media is proud to sponsor the 2010 Pageant by providing the broadcast part of the show. This year the Miss Wisconsin board decided to webcast the entire 3 days of the show on the Oshkosh Northwestern's web site. Snap 180 media provided on-stage and broadcast media assistance with providing three cameras, a large screen with a 10k projector for on-stage videos, switching capability for on-stage video and the brodcast stream.

We are now editing the final DVD for distrubition. It will contain all 3 nights and will be ready to ship in 3 to 4 weeks.If you would like to order a DVD please go to our home page where you will find the link.

Oshkosh Y Strong Kids Campaign

Snap 180 Media has teamed up with the Oshkosh Cycling Club to sponsor the 2010 group ride is to benefit the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign. The campaign ensures that everyone in our community has access to YMCA membership and programs, regardless of financial limitations. The event will consist of three different routes: 8-mile kid/beginner route, a 23-mile intermediate route and a 33-mile advanced route. The ride will begin and end at the 20th Avenue YMCA located at 3303 West 20th Avenue in Oshkosh. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday, May 22th, 2010.
